ESTABLISHMENT
School of Training and Research Pvt. Ltd. (STAR) was established in 2010. It has been registered with Office of the Company Registrar under the Ministry of Industry and the Inland Revenue Department under the Ministry of Finance.
VISION
The primary vision of STAR is to serve the educational sector and produce skilled human resources. We plan to operate the company on a sound financial basis of profitable growth, meanwhile increasing the value of our intellectual property and creating career opportunities and financial rewards for the employees. We are aware of our social corporate responsibility and recognize the role that STAR can play in the betterment of our society.
AREAS OF WORK
The main areas of activity of STAR is to provide suitable trainings to people that will help them to land on relevant jobs or further courses of study. Within a short time of our establishment, we have been able to conduct a wide range of training services and have won remarkable recognition in this area. We have been running Banking Training program, English language classes, Bridge Course for school leavers, Entrance Test Preparation, IELTS preparation to the full satisfaction of our customers. We have also organized seminar and spot admission program for foreign colleges at our office premises. We are also working in collaboration with Cingular Education Pvt. Ltd., a reputed educational consultancy located in the capital city.

The fully equipped office occupies a vast expanse of 2186 square feet, and we have our separate computer labs that provide unlimited internet access to our students any time they wish. SCOPE
We are situated at a strategic location in the far western region of Nepal. Most of the services that we provide are centered at the capital city, which is at a great distance from Dhangadhi. Dhangadhi is also the centre hub of this region, as the country's main highway that connects this region with the rest of the country has to pass through this place. So when we have started to provide these trainings, people who would otherwise have traveled to the capital are opting to come to us for our services and a lot of people in this region have benefited. Due to the overwhelming response to our programs, we are continually looking for new areas in which there is high demand from the modern labor market.
PROMOTION
STAR engages in a variety of promotional activities in order to increase the base of our customers and clients. We give regular advertisement in newspapers and radio stations. Flyers, pamphlets and posters have proved to be other good means of marketing. The founders of STAR are well known and respected figures in Dhangadhi area which has helped us bring many trainees to our offices. But the most effective marketing for STAR is done by the word of mouth of our previous customers who always leave with utmost satisfaction.
